余家愛玉-Aiyu of YU clan

愛玉是桑科榕屬的植物，為台灣特有亞種，是世界獨有的珍貴藤本植物，藉著氣根攀附岩石或樹幹上，雌雄異株，憑靠「榕果小蜂」從愛玉「隱花果實」的底端小洞鑽進鑽出，使內部的萬朵小花授粉後，結成一粒粒的小果實。

Aiyu (Ficus pumila var. awkeotsang) belongs to the genus Ficus in the family Moraceae. It is a unique subspecies endemic to Taiwan and a precious vine found nowhere else in the world. Aiyu climbs rocks or tree trunks using aerial roots and is dioecious. Pollination occurs when fig wasps enter and exit through a small opening at the bottom of its syconium , fertilizing thousands of tiny internal flowers, which then develop into numerous small fruits.
